Welcome to
Wick Community Hub

Who We Are

About Us:

Welcome to Wick Community Hub, a cornerstone of the community in Wick, Scotland. As a dedicated community charity, we have recently transitioned from our former, Wick Youth Club, charity to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) governance model to better support our expanding role overseeing both the Wick Youth Club and The Rosebank Playing Fields facilities.

While our "Wick Youth Club" name will remain for our services and building at 11 Lower Dunbar Street, the overarching Wick Community Hub (SCIO) structure allows us to operate more efficiently to provide a secure and inviting space where children, young people, and our local community come together to learn, grow, and foster meaningful connections. This change will enable us to make accessibility upgrades, add amenities, and conduct comprehensive improvements to transform Rosebank into a state-of-the-art outdoor recreation space, further enhancing our service to the community.

Our History and Mission:

Sitting in the heart of Wick, Scotland, sitting atop the Blackstairs from LS Lowry’s renowned painting, ‘Steps at Wick’, and overlooking Wick Harbour, Wick Youth Club echoes the pride of Wick's history. With deep-rooted connections to the community, we provide support and activities for various groups within our community, such as sports clubs, youth clubs, and other organisations. We are committed to creating a positive environment where everyone can thrive.
